Color choices
This dog digs a hole in the sand beneath a tall beach umbrella. Try a warm golden color for the dog’s fur and a bold striped pattern for the umbrella canopy. Color the starfish and shell nearby in soft pastel hues, and give the ocean waves and distant island cool blue tones.
Compare the dog’s fur and the sand
Color the dog’s fur first, then use a bright color for the sand and sea.
Printing tips
Dog Digging a Hole Beneath Beach Umbrella Coloring Page has about 58 separate areas to color, most of them large and open, so it is an easy page. Crayons, chunky markers or paint sticks cover the big shapes quickly.
Download the PDF and print it on US Letter. For A4, select “Fit to page” in the print dialog; a single test print shows whether your printer keeps the thin outer frame.
This picture is also in the Summer Coloring Pack, one PDF with 12 pictures and a cover page for printing a set in one go.
