Color choices

Narwhals can begin with soft gray, pale blue, or lavender bodies, leaving the oval spots in contrasting shades. Color the long tusks with alternating cream and cool gray bands, then use deeper tones on the fins and tail flukes. Finish the sea ice in icy blue, the water in turquoise, and the seabed plants and rocks in muted greens and browns so the bubbles remain crisp.

Tusks and Spot Patterns

Choose a repeating color sequence for the tusk bands, then vary the oval spot patterns across the narwhals.

Printing tips

With about 123 areas to color, Narwhals Under the Sea Ice Coloring Page sits at a medium level of detail. Use crayons for the big shapes and switch to pencils for the narrow parts.
