Color choices

Walruses can begin with warm brown or cool gray across their broad bodies, then use lighter shades on the muzzles and flippers. Keep the tusks cream, and give the noses and eyes a dark contrast. Color the ice floe pale blue with white highlights. Finish the water in deeper blue and use soft blue-gray on the distant icebergs.

Walrus Pattern Palette

Color each walrus with a distinct arrangement of stripes, spots, or wavy bands. Use a shared palette for the ice, water, and distant icebergs to connect the scene.
