Color choices
A dinosaur skeleton stands tall beside a rocky stream lined with rounded stones. Try a cream or pale gray for the bones, working from the large leg bones toward the ribs and skull. Color the stream a light blue winding between the rocks, and let the tree and bushes behind take deeper greens. A darker background helps the pale skeleton stand out clearly.
Make a pretend museum label
Write a display label on separate paper: give the picture a title, list three shapes you notice and explain which part took the longest to color. Treat the drawing as a stylized skeleton illustration rather than an anatomy diagram.
Printing tips
Dinosaur Skeleton Beside a Rocky Stream Coloring Page has about 243 separate areas to color, so it is a detailed page. Sharpened colored pencils or fine-tip markers reach the small spaces, and it is easy to color one section at a time.
Download the PDF and print it on US Letter. For A4, select “Fit to page” in the print dialog; a single test print shows whether your printer keeps the thin outer frame.
This picture is also in the Dinosaurs Coloring Pack, one PDF with 12 pictures and a cover page for printing a set in one go.
