Color choices
This stegosaurus stands beside a stream lined with rocks and low plants. Color the body a warm tan and use a darker shade for the pointed back plates running along its spine. Let the water take a pale blue as it winds between the stones, and give the trees and distant mountains cooler green and gray-blue tones. Keep the plants along the bank a fresh green.
Compare body and plate colors
Color the stegosaurus’s body first, then use a darker palette for the back plates and the surrounding plants.
Printing tips
