Color choices
This elephant’s blanket carries a floral pattern along its edge, a good place to try a bright color for the flower motif against a plainer border shade. Give the tassels hanging below a contrasting color so they read as separate from the blanket. Layer a few greens across the rolling hills behind, saving a lighter tone for the distant mountains to suggest depth.
Compare blanket patterns
Color the elephant’s body first, then use a contrasting palette for the detailed pattern on the blanket.
