Color choices
Outside a rocky burrow, adult foxes watch over smaller kits, a good opportunity to try a deeper orange-red for the adults and a lighter tone for the kits. Try varied grays for the rocks framing the den entrance, keeping the opening itself a darker shadow. Add a plain brown to the ground beneath their paws.
Color the adults first
Color the larger foxes before moving to the smaller kits and then the rocks and grass around them.
Before you print
With about 112 areas to color, Foxes and Kits Outside a Rocky Burrow Coloring Page sits at a medium level of detail. Use crayons for the big shapes and switch to pencils for the narrow parts.
Download the PDF and print it on US Letter. For A4, select “Fit to page” in the print dialog; a single test print shows whether your printer keeps the thin outer frame.
