Color choices
Giraffe rests on the grass beside a winding path that curves past tall rocky outcrops. Color the path a light tan and the surrounding boulders in cool gray tones. Give the giraffe’s folded legs and body a warm tan wash with deep brown spots. Add tufts of grass around its resting spot in a soft matching green.
Compare grass and rocks
Color the grass first, then use a contrasting palette for the rocks and the giraffe’s spots.
