Color choices
This monkey stands on a grassy hill with both hands over its eyes, mouth open wide. Try a soft brown for its fur and a paler tone for its belly and the backs of its ears. Shade the rolling hill in fresh green and let a few low bushes take a slightly darker shade. Leave the clouds overhead a pale gray against a soft blue sky.
Compare fur and grass
Color the monkey’s fur first, then use a darker shade for the grass and clouds around the hill.
Printing tips
With about 20 areas to color, Monkey Covering Its Eyes on a Grassy Hill Coloring Page is an easy page: the shapes are big and open. Wide crayons or washable markers fill them without much fuss.
The PDF fills one US Letter page. On A4 paper, choose “Fit to page” so the frame stays inside the margins, and print one test copy before making a class set.
