Color choices
This monkey sits on a large rock beside a stream, holding a banana close to its chest. Give the banana a bright yellow with a thin green line near the stem. Try a warm brown for the monkey’s fur and a lighter tone for its face and rounded ears. Shade the rock in cool gray and let the stream ripple in soft blue between the smaller stones.
Compare fur and banana
Color the monkey’s fur first, then use a contrasting palette for the banana and the green plants around the stream.
