Color choices
This monkey sits on a rock with its tongue out, distant hills and drifting clouds filling the background. Try a warm tan for its fur and a lighter shade for its belly and the tip of its tongue. Shade the rock in cool gray and let the grass tufts around it take a fresh green. Keep the rolling hills a soft, hazy blue and leave the clouds a pale white.
Compare fur and rock
Color the monkey’s fur first, then use a darker palette for the rock and surrounding grass.
