Color choices
Origami cranes can begin with soft pastels across the folded wings and pointed tails. Use contrasting shades on the angular fold sections to make the paper layers stand out. Color the hanging strings and round beads in a darker tone, then choose warm wood shades for the tabletop and cabinet base.
Paper Pattern Story
Give each hanging crane a repeating paper pattern, such as stripes, dots, or small geometric shapes. Use a different fold design for the cranes resting on the tabletop.
