Color choices
A unicorn holds a giant leaf overhead like an umbrella while raindrops fall all around. Color the leaf in layered greens to bring out its veins, and give the mane and tail a soft pastel that contrasts with the leaf above. The scattered raindrops could take a light blue, and the puddle rippling at its hooves might get a deeper gray-blue to show reflection. Leave the horn a pale shade.
Compare the texture of the leaf and the unicorn’s mane
Color the unicorn’s mane first, then use a contrasting palette for the raindrops on the leaf.
