Color choices
This hedgehog carries a small apple through a scatter of fallen maple leaves. Color the hedgehog’s spines a warm brown, with a lighter tone for its rounded belly. The apple held close to its snout could take a bright red, while the large maple leaves covering the ground get rich autumn oranges. Try a soft yellow for the leaf drifting down from above.
Compare hedgehog fur and leaf textures
Color the hedgehog’s spiky fur first, then use a contrasting palette for the smooth, rounded apple and the detailed leaves.
