Color choices
This hedgehog curls up asleep beneath a giant mushroom growing among fallen leaves. Try a warm brown for the hedgehog’s spiky coat and a softer tan for its rounded face. Color the mushroom cap with bold spots against a warm stem so it towers over the resting hedgehog. Add rich autumn tones to the leaves scattered across the ground nearby.
Compare hedgehog and mushroom
Color the hedgehog first, then use a different palette for the mushroom and surrounding leaves.
Before you print
With about 63 areas to color, Hedgehog Resting Under Giant Mushroom Coloring Page sits at a medium level of detail. Use crayons for the big shapes and switch to pencils for the narrow parts.
The PDF fills one US Letter page. On A4 paper, choose “Fit to page” so the frame stays inside the margins, and print one test copy before making a class set.
