Color choices
This bat flies through the autumn forest while carrying an acorn tucked in a little pouch. Try a warm brown for the bat’s fur and a contrasting shade for its outstretched wings. Color the swirling leaves around it in gold, red and orange, and let the mushrooms along the path pick up soft earthy tones. Shade the tall tree trunks framing the scene in deep brown so the bat stands out against them.
Compare bat and acorn
Color the bat first, then use a contrasting palette for the acorn and the surrounding leaves.
