Color choices

Human skull areas can begin with warm ivory across the broad cranium, followed by pale gray along the jaw and cheekbone. Fill the eye socket and nasal opening with deep navy or purple for strong contrast. Accent the wavy suture lines with muted gold or brown. A soft blue background can help the skull outline stand apart.

Cranium Pattern Sections

Use a different repeating pattern within the broad cranium sections, changing the design at each wavy suture line. Keep the eye socket and nasal opening solid for contrast.

Before you print

With about 32 areas to color, Human Skull Side View Coloring Page is an easy page: the shapes are big and open. Wide crayons or washable markers fill them without much fuss.

The PDF fills one US Letter page. On A4 paper, choose “Fit to page” so the frame stays inside the margins, and print one test copy before making a class set.

This picture is also in the Human Body Coloring Pack, one PDF with 12 pictures and a cover page for printing a set in one go.
