Color choices
This mandala spreads outward in tight rings of repeating petal shapes, building toward a bright starburst at the very center. Color that central burst first in a pale, glowing tone to suggest moonlight, then work outward, alternating a darker shade with a lighter one ring by ring. The outermost band of small ovals can carry a steady, even color so the whole design reads as one unified, layered circle.
Printing tips
Moonlight Mandala has about 114 separate areas to color, a medium level of detail. Crayons work for the larger shapes, and colored pencils or fine markers help in the smaller spaces.
Download the PDF and print it on US Letter. For A4, select “Fit to page” in the print dialog; a single test print shows whether your printer keeps the thin outer frame.
