Color choices
This squirrel sits upright holding a round acorn close to its chest beneath a dripping leafy branch. Give the bushy tail curling up behind it a warm base tone, then use a deeper shade for the small ears and paws gripping the acorn. The acorn itself suits a rich brown cap, while the branch above and the scattered leaves on the ground can take varied autumn tones.
Compare squirrel fur and tree bark
Color the squirrel’s fur first, then use a darker shade for the tree trunk and leaves around the branch.
Printing tips
With about 100 areas to color, Squirrel Holding Acorn Under Branch in Rain Coloring Page sits at a medium level of detail. Use crayons for the big shapes and switch to pencils for the narrow parts.
