Color choices

Parts of a flower can begin with broad petals in coral or violet, followed by green sepals and stem. Color the oval anthers gold and their slender filaments pale yellow. Use pink for the central stigma, style, and ovary, then give the small ovules a contrasting blue or orange.

Petal Palette Pattern

Use alternating warm and cool shades across the broad petals, then repeat selected shades in the anthers and ovules.

Printing tips

Parts of a Flower Diagram Coloring Page has about 38 separate areas to color, most of them large and open, so it is an easy page. Crayons, chunky markers or paint sticks cover the big shapes quickly.

Download the PDF and print it on US Letter. For A4, select “Fit to page” in the print dialog; a single test print shows whether your printer keeps the thin outer frame.
