Color choices
This thorny rose stands among daisies and fluttering butterflies in a garden setting. Color the rose bloom a deep tone and keep the thorns along the stem in a contrasting muted shade. Try pale yellow centers for the daisies with petals in a soft color, and give each butterfly’s wings its own bright pattern to set them apart from the flowers.
Color the rose petals and stem
Color the rose petals first, then use a darker shade for the thorny stem and adjacent leaves.
