Color choices
A winged dragon coils its long body around a stone tower on a rocky cliff. Color the scaly body in deep green, leaving the wing membranes a lighter shade so their folds stand out. The tower’s stone blocks look good in warm grey, with a contrasting tone for the small windows and the rocky outcrop beneath it. Keep the distant mountains and drifting clouds pale so the dragon and tower remain the focus.
Compare dragon scales and tower texture
Color the dragon’s scales first, then use a darker shade for the tower’s bricks and the rocky ground.
