Color choices
This unicorn rests on a fluffy cloud with its eyes closed and its long mane spilling over the edge. Try a pastel shade for the mane and tail, then a pale hue for the horn so it stands apart from the coat. Color the curved rainbow overhead in bands, and leave the clouds mostly white. A small star near the top could pick up a soft yellow to balance the scene.
Compare cloud layers and rainbow colors
Color the clouds first, then use a bright palette for the rainbow arch and the unicorn’s horn.
Before you print
Unicorn Resting on Clouds Beneath a Curved Rainbow Coloring Page has about 51 separate areas to color, most of them large and open, so it is an easy page. Crayons, chunky markers or paint sticks cover the big shapes quickly.
The PDF fills one US Letter page. On A4 paper, choose “Fit to page” so the frame stays inside the margins, and print one test copy before making a class set.
