Color choices
This witch bakes pumpkin pies in a kitchen full of shelves lined with jars. Try a warm color for the witch’s apron and a contrasting shade for the pointed hat above it. Color the pie fillings a rich pumpkin orange, and pick a golden tone for the crusts resting beside the rolling pin. Shade the shelves and jars in varied muted colors, and let the plaid cloth on the counter pick up a checkered pattern.
Compare the texture of the pie crusts
Color the crusts of the pies first, then use a contrasting palette for the pumpkin filling and the witch’s hat.
