Color choices
A hedgehog carries an apple through a scatter of autumn leaves. Color its rounded back in warm brown spikes, and let the small face and paws take on a softer cream tone. Try a bright red or green for the apple held in its paws, and warm oranges and reds for the fallen leaves around it. Keep the bare branches in the background a simple muted gray-brown.
Color the leaves and hedgehog
Color the large leaves first, then use a different palette for the hedgehog’s spines and face.
