Color choices
This heart-shaped arrangement of roses sits against a backdrop of rolling hills. Try a bold warm color for the layered rose petals, varying the shade slightly between blooms so the heart doesn’t read as one flat color. Shade the leaves tucked among the roses in a deep green, and use a soft, hazy green for the distant hills. Fill the grass at the base with a fresh green.
Compare rose petals and leaf shapes
Color the rose petals first, then use a contrasting palette for the leaves and grass around the base.
Before you print
Heart-Shaped Arrangement of Roses with Rolling Hills Coloring Page has about 342 separate areas to color, so it is a detailed page. Sharpened colored pencils or fine-tip markers reach the small spaces, and it is easy to color one section at a time.
Download the PDF and print it on US Letter. For A4, select “Fit to page” in the print dialog; a single test print shows whether your printer keeps the thin outer frame.
